BACKGROUND NOTE: It is interesting to compare the health warnings on cigarettes packs in the United States with those required in other countries, in this case, Thailand. Notice there is no "Surgeon General warning..." in Thailand, and also note that the notice must be on the front of the pack.

I particularly like this one: "Respect the rights of others by not smoking in public."

Do you think we could get that one in the U.S.?

Quotes:
Warnings on Thai cigarette packages (7 rotating warnings, must be on the front of the pack.)

1. Smoking is hazardous to health.
2. Smoking causes lung cancer and pulmonary diseases.
3. Smoking causes cardiovascular diseases.
4. Smoking is harmful to fetus.
5. Respect the rights of others by not smoking in public.
6. Quit smoking reduces the risks of dangerous diseases.
7. Quit smoking for the sake of your loved ones.
