- 12th grade students. The Albuquerque Public Schools did not participate

The table below shows that 7th-12th grade students are more likely to have smoked
cigarettes in the past year as they become older.
Tobacco Use Prevalence Among 7th-12th Grade Students and Supervision
There is a significant relationship between the prevalence of student
cigarette smoking and the format or level of supervision that the state's
teens receive. The table below illustrates that students who are left alone
and those who hang out unsupervised with friends are more likely to have
smoked cigarettes during the past year.
